O.k., so I've been far from regular in posting on our blog. Were it not for my dear husband, I'm quite certain I would have forgotten we even had a blog. I visited it today for the first time in months, and found some of our more recent photos posted that I hadn't even seen yet. So, it turns out the blog is also a good way for me to keep myself updated on my own family ;-) I'll have to visit more frequently.
My memory, though poor, is serving me well enough that I can recall what the impetus was for creating the blog: the birth of Noah. And I will predict right now that the blog will get much more regular updates in the not so distant future for a similar reason....yes, as many of you know, our third child will be here before we know it. I have been officially scheduled to be induced on May 5th, so just over three months left to go, and our new baby girl will arrive. It's hard to imagine that I'll be the mother of three, ages 3, 17 months and newborn, as of that day. Just seeing that in a sentence makes me nervous....but excited at the same time. On the days when two kids seem to be more than a handful, I do wonder how I'm going to handle it, but I know that the grace of God is sufficient, and He will equip us as He always has. Amen!
So now I'm going to enjoy a little bit of peace during nap time, and I'll hope that my prediction will stand: Even if there are no posts between now and May, you can likely expect an hour-by-hour report on the day of our daughter's birth, May 5th (unless I go into labour before that), courtesy of my devoted husband, who is also a very excited dad.

Yes, we're still around!
I know we haven't posted in a while, so here is a recent photo of Hannah and Noah enjoying the two feet of snow or more that has been dumped on us over the past month. Just before this photo was taken Hannah had gleefully pulled her brother all over the neighbourhood in his new sled given to him by Grandma "B" (Val's Mom Bond). The cries of joy and laughter were infectious. We are blessed to have the gift of our children.
Blessings to our "extended" family,
Chris on behalf of the Powells.
