Dear All,
In the Lord's great grace and providence, Abigail Elizabeth Powell was born at 11:57 AM, May 5th 2009 weighing in at 9lbs. 14 oz. Mom and baby are doing well. Because of the speed with which Val responded to the oxytocin there was no time for an epidural - it was all natural. Val did very well and I'm so thankful for her and our new daughter.
Please join us in giving thanks to God for His grace in preserving and bringing this beautiful baby girl into the world. Pictures will follow when a better internet connection is possible.

YIPPEE!! Just checking in to see how things were going today and am thrilled to hear the news!! And, of course, no shock to read Abby's birthweight!! Congrats Powell Family!! So happy that everything went quickly and wow, Val, you're a champ to go sans epidural with pitocin!! Looking forward to seeing some photos soon. Praying for you all and lots of love sent your way from the south!
